      Description

      After the upgrade from Debian Wheezy (Debian_7) to Jessie (Debian_8) sys.flavor still reports debian_7.
      It seems it finds both debian_7 and debian_8 hard classes:
      root@dom0-150:/var/cfengine# cf-promises --show-classes | grep debian
      debian
      inventory,attribute_name=none,source=agent,hardclass
      debian_7
      inventory,attribute_name=none,source=agent,derived-from=sys.flavor,hardclass
      debian_8
      inventory,attribute_name=none,source=agent,derived-from=sys.flavor,hardclass
      debian_8_2
      inventory,attribute_name=none,source=agent,hardclass
      debian_pure
      source=promise,inventory,attribute_name=none
      root@dom0-150:/var/cfengine#

      1. Why does it still find debian_7 in the first place?
      2. What can I do to work around this situation?
      3. Why does it prefer debian_7 over debian_8 as the value for sys.flavor?

      Regards,
      Martin.
