The new onboarding has an option "Generic x86" device type.
However, the onboarding will only work on ARM (v6 or newer) based devices, because the .deb package is built for that architecture.
This is not a big problem as ARM has around 80% of the market share, but it can confuse people who do want to try it with x86: the package will simply fail to install.
- Remove the "Generic x86" option in the dropdown
- Indicate clearly on the copy & paste dialog (or anywhere else appropriate) that works on devices based on ARM (v6 or newer).
